浸沒式冷卻電池業者行競科技(XING Mobility)今日正式宣布跨足儲能系統(ESS)應用,並攜手日本電子測控設備製造商 NF 控股(NF Holdings Corporation)進軍日本儲能市場。
根據彭博新能源財經(BNEF)《2021全球儲能展望》報告預期,2030 年全球電池儲能系統累積安裝量會大幅成長,尤其定置型儲能系統將爆發性成長,預估吸引約 2,620 億美元投資。與此同時,日本儲能市場也是各家必爭之地,日本政府更從 2021 財年追加預算中撥出 130 億日圓(約 1.14 億美元),提供電池儲能系統最多達一半的成本補貼,顯見日本儲能市場前景看好。
看好儲能未來需求,行競科技聯合日本 NF 控股跨足儲能系統應用,將透過行競科技獨家專利 IMMERSIO 浸沒式冷卻電池系統投入日本的儲能系統市場,為當地辦公大樓、住宅社區以及太陽能與風力發電等再生能源電網提供更穩定、安全的的離峰電源穩定供應系統。行競科技透露,其浸沒式冷卻電池儲能系統目前已於日本都會區進行測試,預計能強化太陽能、風力發電等再生能源電力儲能系統使用中的安全性,若遇天氣災害仍可穩定供電。
行競科技表示,當再生能源發電量大於當下用電需求時,電網中的儲能系統就像水庫蓄水般能儲存、分散多餘電力,並在用電尖峰時段補給電網。實測相較於一般儲能系統,浸沒式冷卻電池系統優勢在於電池完全浸泡在不導電的工程冷卻液中,能有效控制充放電所產生的高溫,防止潛在熱失控風險,確保儲能系統的熱管理效能。
行競科技策略長賀陳修強調,踏入日本市場是行競科技在儲能系統應用發展的第一步,行競科技目前也與美國、北歐、澳洲等不同國家客戶洽談在產業、建築等儲能系統應用,擴展 IMMERSIO 浸沒式冷卻電池系統的應用。
